Do you currently have a rising 9th grade student or know someone who does?
Beginning on November 15, all rising 9th grade students will have the opportunity to apply to the regional lab school (ATI) with Caroline, King George, Spotsylvania, and Stafford Counties for the 2024-2025 academic school year.
Academy of Technology and Innovation (ATI) at University of Mary Washington (UMW)
ATI at UMW is a proposed public college partnership and regional high school program for Fredericksburg area students who are interested in computer and data science and their applications within the fields of math, history, and art. The program will feature customized pathways to match individual student interests and a small learning environment. The school will open in the fall of 2024.
Our division will receive six of 100 spots in the first cohort. Again, the application process for a spot in that cohort will begin on November 15th for rising 9th grade students.
An ATI-UMW Open House will be held on December 5, from 5-7 PM. Register for the event ASAP!
