Good Afternoon Tiger Family,
This is your Principal Mr. Ventura with your weekly update. As we embark on another week of learning and growth, we want to keep you informed about the latest happenings at W-GMS. Here's what you need to know:

Tiger Paw Enrichment Academy will continue next week. If you have not already done so, please consider signing up your student(s) to participate. Permission slips can be found in the front office and linked below. Transportation will be provided. Tiger Paw Enrichment Academy

This week we will be conducting our bus evacuation drill on Tuesday August 29th, during the morning arrival time.

On Tuesday, August 29th, students will be participating in the Reading Virginia Growth Assessment.

On August 30th, we will have a football scrimmage against Fredericksburg Christian at 4:30 p.m. at Fredericksburg Christian.

Cheer tryouts will be held on August 30th and 31st.

School will not be in session on Friday, September 1st and Monday, September 4th in observance of the Labor Day holiday.

Back to School Night will be held on September 6th from 5:00 pm-7:00 pm. On this evening, teachers will share course syllabus information, further explain the course curriculum, and answer questions you may have about what your student still will learn this upcoming year.

Lastly, families, it is imperative that your child attends school every day and arrives on time to all of their classes. Please know that regular attendance and on-time arrival will positively impact your students’ academic performance.
