Preschool Penguins Practice Fire Safety

Last week, Preschool Programs celebrated Fire Safety Week in recognition of National Fire Prevention Month. Our Penguins practiced “stop, drop, and roll,” learned how to dial 911 and what to say when calling for help, and explored fire safety rules and the important role of firefighters. They built valuable skills to help keep themselves and others safe in an emergency. A highlight of the week was a special visit from the Fredericksburg Fire Department. A huge thank you to our local firefighters for taking the time to visit our Penguins!
