Good evening, Hugh Mercer families,

I hope everyone enjoyed their break and is ready to get back to school and finish strong! With only eight weeks left, time is going to fly by. Daily attendance and on-time arrival are more important than ever, especially with just three weeks of instruction left before SOL testing begins for grades 3-5. Let’s make every day count!

We are excited to invite you to our FCPS Responsibility Centered Discipline (RCD) Information & Feedback Night on Monday, April 7th, from 5:00-6:30 PM at James Monroe High School. Patriot PRIDE & Behavior Expectations

As we move into the final stretch of the school year, please help us reinforce Patriot PRIDE at school by encouraging respectful and focused behavior throughout the day. We have a lot of fun activities planned for the end of the year, but students must demonstrate Patriot PRIDE to participate.

Tuesday, April 15 — Purple Up! Day (Wear purple to support military-connected students)
Friday, April 18 - Monday, April 21 — Holiday Break (No School for Staff & Students)
