This is what total immersion looks like at Walker-Grant Middle School. Mrs. Pickover's English classes read the book Matilda, saw the play, and created diorama boxes - using Peeps and paint to illustrate their favorite chapter in the book. For the final act, Pickover hosted a Peeps party for families to view the dioramas, hear students discuss the project using learned literary terms, vote for favorites, and taste peeps of all flavors. What a wonderful way to bring her peeps together!
