Ms. Rahn’s Advanced English class putting those APER values to work! They’re showing empathy and respect by peer editing their persuasive essays. Peers are using a feedback form to look for complex sentence structure, persuasive sign posts, and strong thesis statements. Go 6th graders! 🐅🐅🐅

Last week, we took the Cat-bus and WGMS Tigers on the road for a festive holiday tour to deliver gifts around the community, 🧡. It was incredible as our students and families came out in full force to select free gifts available on our mobile shop. Merry Christmas Eve 💘!
Here’s some pictures from the Jr. Chef club event last Wednesday where they made dinner for Dr. Catlett and some members of the school board. The culinary students cooked and four of our JVG (jobs for Virginia’s graduates) students earned to serve and wait tables. The students prepared an incredible menu of salmon, calzones, risotto, string beans, and topped it all off with a dessert of cream puffs. It was an incredible display of teamwork, creativity, and culinary skill! 🥙🍲🧆
