Thanks to Mrs. Lamphere for working with room 11 kindergarteners to plant flowers in the Hugh Mercer Garden in memory of Duke Williams, a former custodian at Hugh Mercer. The flower seeds were provided by his family.

Ms. Phipps, Mrs. Wilson's, and Mrs. Taylor's third grade classes had a SOL review egg hunt! Shout out to the parents that sent in plastic eggs and treats as well as Mrs. McKenzie, Mr. Bumbrey, and Mr. Scott for helping support students during the event, we couldn't have done it without you!!
Students worked with friends and teachers to figure out the answers to 72 SOL review questions. After answering at least 35 questions students received various treats including candy and small toys! Such a fun way to celebrate taking their first SOL!!
