On Friday, some very special visitors stopped by Hugh Mercer. Mrs. Volpert's class demonstrated the HM Patriot Pledge. Second and third grade students then performed a song from their concert. Afterwards, our visiting representatives were treated to cookies, punch, and a token of our gratitude.

On Friday, SCA officers, ambassadors, and representatives were sworn in and installed. We applaud the leadership these students show and look forward to the work they will do. Mrs. Keeka's 3rd graders created Math Gingerbread. They solved math facts on paper candy to decorate the gingerbread house and gingerbread people.

Kindergarten was inspired by the Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade and went around the school with their balloons.
Our gifted students designed and manufactured dolls for the children of Loisann's Hope House.

Last week the principals at HM showed their appreciation to the staff by cooking Pancakes 🥞and waffles 🧇. Breakfast for lunch was a delicious treat.
