Feeling all the feels today? You are not alone!
It’s common to experience multiple emotions at once. We often try to simplify our emotions into just one feeling, but emotions are complex and can be contradictory.
Take a deep breath and acknowledge all the emotions you are feeling right now. Are you feeling:
‣Anxious and happy?
‣Confused and grateful?
‣Angry and silly?
Allow yourself to feel all the emotions, even if they seem to be total opposites. You can feel multiple things at once and that’s okay!
Not sure what emotions you are feeling but want to talk to someone about it? At home, you can talk to a trusted adult, friend, or sibling. At school, you can talk to your teacher, school counselor, or principal.
Share with us in the comments below what emotions you are feeling today. Let’s normalize the complexity of feeling many emotions together!
