Let's face it. The proof is in the pudding. WGMS Tigers ROCK! Major congratulations to Omari Thompson, an esteemed and dedicated 8th grade student-athlete who recently broke the state record for discus! That's right - HE's NUMBER 1!!! 🔥🐅. We are proud of you, Omari. Let's go!

Students from Ms. Bonilla's class held a luncheon for their patrons yesterday, which turned out to be massively successful! Patrons were able to place orders, commune with friends and dine, and eat some tasty cuisine! Go Tigers!!!

Our middle school scholars worked hard to create their own brand. They calculated production cost, created advertising, and wrote business letters pitching their ideas to some of the top sneaker companies.
We will be donating our sneakers to the local shelter but wanted to give you all a chance to view the amazing variety of pairs! Let's clap for our wonderful students 👏👏👏

Ms. Rahn and Mrs. Bane’s class went to the library today for a Word Study Escape Room to get ready for the Reading SOL and it was so much fun! 🎉
Students teamed up, cracked word clues, and put their vocabulary skills to the test. Lots of laughs, great teamwork, and learning happening all at once. We love seeing our students engaged and having fun while preparing for success! 📚✨

Last week, our Criminal Justice Club students got to work a crime scene! The students were able to use their critical thinking and investigation skills to explore forensic analysis. Nice job!!! 🐅

🚌Happy National School Bus Driver and Aide Appreciation Day! 🚌
The job is not done when the last stop is complete. Post-trip inspections help ensure every student has safely exited and each bus is secure for the next day. Thank you to our drivers for your attention to detail.
Take a moment to see everything that goes into a post-trip inspection.

Join us as we celebrate National School Bus Driver and Aide Appreciation Day on April 28. 🚌
This week, we are highlighting the important work our transportation team does each day to keep students safe.
Before the first stop is made, safety comes first. Our drivers carefully complete pre-trip inspections each day to ensure every bus is safe and ready to roll. Thank you to our drivers for starting every route with care.
