Things to Ghost 👻This Fall
As the weather cools down and the leaves change, here are some things to ghost this fall:
◈Comparing yourself to others
◈Feeling bad about setting boundaries
◈Feeling bad for saying no
◈Ignoring your mental health for other people
◈Unhealthy relationships
◈Believing your anxious thoughts
Let’s make this fall a season of self-love and self-care! If you or someone you know needs mental health support at school, visit your school counselor.

Feeling all the feels today? You are not alone!
It’s common to experience multiple emotions at once. We often try to simplify our emotions into just one feeling, but emotions are complex and can be contradictory.
Take a deep breath and acknowledge all the emotions you are feeling right now. Are you feeling:
‣Anxious and happy?
‣Confused and grateful?
‣Angry and silly?
Allow yourself to feel all the emotions, even if they seem to be total opposites. You can feel multiple things at once and that’s okay!
Not sure what emotions you are feeling but want to talk to someone about it? At home, you can talk to a trusted adult, friend, or sibling. At school, you can talk to your teacher, school counselor, or principal.
Share with us in the comments below what emotions you are feeling today. Let’s normalize the complexity of feeling many emotions together!

Reminder: There is NO School on Wednesday, November 27 - Friday, November 29, 2024.

🌟 Happy World Kindness Day! 🌟
Today, Fredericksburg City Public Schools join millions around the world in celebrating the power of kindness! We encourage everyone—students, teachers, staff and families—to take a moment to share a kind word, lend a helping hand, or simply make someone smile. Every act of kindness makes our school and community a better place.
Let's spread positivity, compassion, and kindness not just today, but every day! 💙
